Accessibility Statement
Scope
This accessibility statement applies to the website ammersee-digital.de, operated by Engito Labs GmbH (brand: Ammersee Digital). We are committed to making our website accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG), the German Accessible Information Technology Regulation (Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung, BITV 2.0), and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA.
Conformity Status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to all accessibility standards.
Accessibility Measures
We have taken the following measures to ensure the accessibility of our website:
- Semantic HTML: Use of correct HTML5 elements (nav, main, header, footer, section) for a logical document structure.
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard. A "Skip to content" link allows users to bypass the navigation.
- ARIA attributes: Use of ARIA landmarks, labels, and roles to improve screen reader support.
- Color contrast: Text and interactive elements meet the minimum contrast ratios required by WCAG 2.1 AA (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- Responsive design: The website is usable on all devices and screen sizes and supports up to 200% zoom magnification without loss of information.
- Form design: All form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked, and error messages are communicated clearly and immediately (aria-live, role="alert").
- Focus indicators: Visible focus styles for all interactive elements.
- Reduced motion: Animations are suppressed when the operating system's "reduce motion" setting (prefers-reduced-motion) is enabled.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, the following areas may have limitations:
- SVG graphics: Some decorative SVG elements may not be fully described by alternative text. All purely decorative elements are marked with
aria-hidden="true"and are ignored by screen readers. - PDF documents: Should PDF documents be provided in the future, their full accessibility cannot be guaranteed at this time.
We are continuously working to remove existing barriers and further improve the accessibility of our website.
